Reverend Dana Ezell

Dana has been the pastor at Trinity UMC since June of 2014 and has lived in the Atlanta area since 2008. Originally from Galvez, LA, she lived in Seattle for several years. It was in Seattle at Queen Anne United Methodist Church that she answered the call to ministry. She received her seminary education from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Before becoming a pastor, she spent over 10 years as a clinical social worker, working with families, seniors, and people affected by HIV/AIDS. With its ministries focused on the hungry and homeless and social justice, Dana feels right at home at Trinity. Her ministry passion is reaching new people in new places in new ways with the good news of God’s love. In her spare time, she loves playing with her three dogs, traveling, writing, and watching her beloved LSU Tigers. (Being from Louisiana she can also cook a mean gumbo!) Her favorite Old Testament verse is Micah 6:8, and her favorite New Testament verse is 1 John 4:19.

Betsy crawford - lay leader

Betsy Jensen Crawford has been a member at Trinity UMC for 31 years.  She originally volunteered to spend the night at the (then) night shelter and was hooked from then on.  She has been a member of the choir since that time and has held a number of offices, as well.  She credits Trinity with expanding her faith horizons and particularly appreciates congregational diversity and openness to God's leading.  If you feel displaced or unwelcome in other congregations....please give Trinity a try!
